Valkyrie will be released on Blu Ray on May 27th, and is a movie that will be worth purchasing for value.

Blu-Ray films such as Valkyrie, are part of a 20th Century Fox plan that will include a free digital copy.

Customers will receive a free digital copy of feature films like Valkyrie on a second disc, which can be downloaded to a laptop or portable device.

Valkyrie, staring Tom Cruise is the first 20th Century Fox Blu-Ray to include a digital copy, making it a truly unique Blu-Ray film.

The Blu-Ray version of this film includes an extra five minutes of unseen footage, as well as special features not included in the normal DVD version. So if you wish to experience some of the newest technology and enjoyed the Valkyrie film, then perhaps you should try the Blu-Ray experience.

An adaptation of a cult comic book classic, Watchmen follows the story of an alternate reality, where superheroes are commonplace and some people (good and bad alike) are blessed with unbelievable strength and intelligence.

But time has not been kind to the superheroes of Watchmen, and many have abandoned their identities in pursuit of a ‘normal’ life. One of the most interesting aspects of the movie is its suggestion that regardless of their superpowers, the superheroes are just as susceptible to emotional and mental problems as ‘normal’ people are.

This is seen in the character The Comedian, who breaks down totally before being killed by a masked attacker.

The murder is the latest in a string of efforts to discredit and knock off former superheroes, so to combat the scourge a ragtag band of former heroes get together and try to get to the bottom of it.

Watchmen bluray offers a host of extra features that lovers of the movie will definitely want to see.

Bella has just moved to a new town to live with her dad, and has to start fresh at a new school.

The town is quiet and charming but after a couple of days she becomes disconcerted by the fact that a strange boy, Edward, keeps scowling at her.

After confronting Edward about it, he reveals that he is in fact a vampire. He and his family became vampires almost a century ago, but they are “vegetarian” – they eat animals and not humans.

A dead body surfaces in the town, unsettling the local police. It turns out the murder was carried out by a group of three rogue vampires, not related to the Cullens.

One of these rogue vampires, James, gets the scent of Bella during a baseball match, and decides he has to have her.

Edward and Bella, with the help of the Cullen family, devise a plot to try to save Bella from James. But James is too clever and tricks Bella into meeting him at a ballet studio.

As James is about to bite Bella, Edward turns up and the two slug it out. Who will win? You will have to watch…

The Twilight bluray movie is entertaining and great fun, and contains plenty of additional features.

The savagely scary Dr. Hannibal Lecter, played by Anthony Hopkins, caused nightmares across the world with cannibalistic kills and intense demeanour.

The story follows a budding FBI agent, Clarice Starling (played by Jodie Foster), who is trying to track down a serial killer called Buffalo Bill.

Starling is instructed by her FBI superiors to speak with Hannibal Lecter – and offer him a fake prison transfer deal – in exchange for forensic information about the killer. Lecter is able to offer useful insights into Buffalo Bill because he was formerly a top forensic psychiatrist.

A number of problematic events prevent Starling from finding out the identity of Buffalo Bill, not the least of which is Lecter giving out false information about the killer’s identity.

While a manhunt for the wrong suspect is carried out, Lecter escapes from jail. He kills several people on his way out, and disappears until right at the end of the film, when he makes another brief appearance.

Starling eventually ends up at the home of Buffalo Bill, partly by accident, and in a shootout in his basement she kills him.

Silence of the Lambs is a chilling, must-see classic for all thriller buffs. The Silence of the Lamb bluray includes many extras that make it worth watching.

The story is one of heavy redemption for Thomas, as he tries to contribute to others who are suffering as a sort of compensation for the destruction he has wrought.

Thomas gives his body parts to those that need them, starting out with his brother (to whom he gives a lung lobe), and part of his liver to a child services worker by the name of Holly.

After these initial donations, Thomas seemingly gets a knack for it and begins to seek out “worthy” people for accepting parts from him.

The situation becomes complicated when Thomas falls in love with the final person he is contributing to, a woman named Emily Posa (Rosario Dawson) who has a serious heart condition.

The film has received mixed reviews, on account of its heavy approach and melodramatic storyline.

The acting is generally well praised, but audiences are often left bewildered as to the meaning of the film and the real sentiments of the film’s makers.

The Seven Pounds bluray will have some extra features that could not be seen at the cinema.

Quantum of Solace picks up where Casino Royale left off, with Bond preparing to question the captured Mr White with M.

The interrogation goes pear shaped, however, when M’s bodyguard turns out to be a traitor and tries to kill her while Mr White escapes. Bond kills the bodyguard and then resumes the hunt for the former flame of his dead lover, Vesper Lynd. Arriving in Haiti, Bond discovers that the boss of an international ecological organisation, Dominic Greene, plans to do two unsavoury things.

First, he intends to kill his girlfriend, Camille Montes, and second, he plans to overthrow the Bolivian government (with the help of a Bolivian general) in exchange for a piece of land in the desert.

As the trail of events unfolds, Bond meets up with two former allies – Rene Mathis and CIA agent Felix Leiter – to try to get a further grasp of the situation.

Bond tracks Greene to an eco-hotel in the Bolivian desert, where a huge shootout ensues and Greene is killed.

The Quantum of Solace bluray has a number of extra features and terrific audio and visual sequences.

At the stark of the film, Stark is a ruthless cad only interested in making money. He treats the world as his playground and has no concern for the welfare of others, particularly those who may be injured or killed by the weapons he makes.

When in Afghanistan to provide weapons to a militant group, Stark is taken hostage and told he must build an ultimate weapon for his captors. Instead, he builds an iron suit with flying capabilities and escapes, taking out most of the bad guys along the way.

Upon his return home to the US, Stark is a changed man. He decides that he wants to use his skills (and his newly upgraded iron suit) in the pursuit of justice. But his new approach is not agreed to by some, and a series of battles ensue. There are plenty of crash-bang special effects in Iron Man, and it is a movie that will be especially enjoyed by those who love comic books.

The Iron Man bluray set will have additional scenes and interviews not yet available.

Matt Damon was already famous for several other works, but the Bourne trilogy has been his most successful yet.

The three films follow the story of Jason Bourne, a former top-level spy operative with a remarkable set of skills that is now suffering from amnesia and cannot remember his past. Bourne learns with time that he was part of the Treadstone project, a CIA initiative setup to enable the CIA to kill important political figures in other countries when they felt the need to do so.

In the second film (The Bourne Supremacy), Bourne’s lover is killed and he is determined to follow a new course of action to take down those responsible.

The three films are notable for their rapid pace and clever plots, as well as some fantastic fight sequences.

The musical score of the three films has also been lauded, and the cinematography is first rate.

The famous Walt Disney animation follows the story of a young puppet boy who must learn real virtues in order to complete his transformation into a real boy.

One day on his way to school, Pinocchio is waylaid by a ruthless, wily fox named John Worthington Foulfellow and then sold to a powerful individual called Stromboli.

Pinocchio’s challenge is to escape from Stromboli, a puppet master who makes lots of money from Pinocchio’s fantastic live puppet performances.

To prevent Pinocchio from escaping and returning home, Stromboli locks him in a birdcage. The Blue Fairy arrives and, after seeing Pinocchio’s nose grow from lies he tells, releases him from the cage.

Pinocchio escapes but is again sidetracked, this time to an evil amusement park called Pleasure Island where boys can do whatever they want but eventually grow into donkeys and are made to be slaves.

How does Pinocchio escape this time? Will he ever become a real boy?
